Poteet faced off against Horn for the first time this season, and Poteet walked away the winners. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Horn 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Poteet.
Poteet's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Horn, their loss dropped their record down to 7-1.
Poteet on the road again on Wednesday and play against Heritage at 7:15 p.m. on January 17th. Heritage is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Horn will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Tyler Legacy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
