The Morgan Huskies stacked a seventh blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They blew past Haddam-Killingworth 60-29 at home. The victory was familiar territory for Morgan who now have three in a row.
Morgan's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Victoria O'Neill, who scored 12 points along with three steals and three blocks. As a matter of fact, that's the most points O'Neill has scored all season. Sadie Passante was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five steals.
Morgan has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Haddam-Killingworth, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.
Morgan will head out on the road to square off against the Bellringers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Hampton is on a nine-game streak of home wins, the Huskies a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court. As for Haddam-Killingworth, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against the Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on February 3rd.
