Maranacook strolled past Boothbay with points to spare the last time the two teams met, taking the contest 26-7. Boothbay can consider this payback for the 14-20 loss they dealt Maranacook the last time the teams encountered one another.
Meanwhile, Boothbay lost to Maranacook by a decisive 7-26 margin.
Maranacook's victory lifted them to 5-3 while Boothbay's defeat dropped them down to 4-5. We'll find out if Maranacook can add another positive mark to their record or if Boothbay can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Maranacook's step.
