The Linden Eagles''s recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They took a 30-13 bruising from Mt. Pleasant. While losing is never fun, Linden can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Mt. Pleasant is ranked 46th).
Michael Bush threw for 161 yards on 19 of 28 attempts. Dylan Dreasky was his top target, picking up 90 receiving yards.
Linden now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Mt. Pleasant, the win was the seventh in a row for they, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
Linden will head out on the road to face off against Mason at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Mason's favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while Linden has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. Mt. Pleasant will take on Northview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Northview is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
