Softball Recap: Metropolitan Learning Center Comes Up Short at Home Against Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy

Metropolitan Learning Center unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy Phoenix by a score of 8-6 on Monday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy pushed their record up to 4-1 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Metropolitan Learning Center is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Academy of Aerospace and Engineering at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hartford Magnet Trinity College Academy, they will face off against Parish Hill at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
