Samir Crosby Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Starting off the list is Greensburg Central Catholic's Samir Crosby, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Crosby rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns, and also threw for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.7) per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, forcing a fumble, making eight total tackles, and defending a pass in addition to snagging an interception.
Crosby must have Jeannette's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Crosby saw the Jayhawks), he rushed for 90 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and a touchdown.

Big Game from Floyd As Leechburg Won 62-16
Jayden Floyd's big game helped extend Leechburg's winning streak to seven on Friday. Frazier had no answer to Floyd as he rushed for 143 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries, and also threw for 100 yards while completing 88.9% of his passes.
Floyd must have Frazier's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Floyd rushed for 107 yards on only 11 carries, and also threw for 127 yards and a touchdown the last time he and the Commodores duked it out back in September of 2023.

Timmy Andrasy Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Leechburg got the W thanks in part to Timmy Andrasy playing the best football he has all season. Andrasy rushed for 145 yards and four touchdowns on only eight carries.
For the year, Andrasy has run in 9 touchdowns while averaging 82.7 rushing yards per game. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had two rushing touchdowns.

Kymon'e Brown Dazzles in Jeannette Loss
While Kymon'E Brown delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Jeannette. Brown turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 205 yards while picking up 12.1 yards per carry, and also throwing for 115 yards and two touchdowns. He also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making four total tackles and defending two passes.
Jeannette is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3. Brown and Jeannette are on the road again on Friday to play Brentwood.

Drahcir Jones and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Drahcir Jones's big game helped extend Clairton's winning streak to seven on Friday. Jones turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 93 yards and two touchdowns. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 68 yards.
Clairton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-0. Jones and Clairton will square off against Leechburg at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
