On Friday, Millers Creek Christian strolled past Southview Christian with points to spare, taking the game 48-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Millers Creek Christian.
Cam Layaou was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Millers Creek Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Corban Huffman, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.
Millers Creek Christian has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season. As for Southview Christian, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
Millers Creek Christian will be playing at home against Victory Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Victory Christian Academy knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past seven contests -- so hopefully Millers Creek Christian likes a good challenge. As for Southview Christian, they will head out on the road to take on New Manna Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
