Baltic is 1-9 against Flandreau since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Baltic Bulldogs will head out on the road to take on the Flandreau Fliers at 7:30 p.m. Baltic knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past five contests -- so hopefully Flandreau likes a good challenge.
Even though Canton scored an imposing 59 points on Thursday, Baltic still came out on top. Baltic enjoyed a cozy 73-59 victory over Canton.
It was another big night for Jack Erickson, who scored 26 points along with six rebounds and four steals. That makes it six consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Baltic's points. Another player making a difference was Ben Erickson, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, Flandreau strolled past Clark/Willow Lake with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 50-31. The win was just what Flandreau needed coming off of a 50-29 loss in their prior contest.
Baltic has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. As for Flandreau, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-7.
Baltic opened the new year with a less-than-successful 58-51 loss to Flandreau. Can Baltic avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
