Syracuse barely beat Morgan the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went the Syracuse Titans' way against the Morgan Trojans on Monday as the Syracuse Titans made off with a 3-0 win. The Titans' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matchups.

Wyatt Affleck and Mateo Gutierrez scored all three of Syracuse's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Syracuse's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 3-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those three contests. As for Morgan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Syracuse will welcome Westlake at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Westlake will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Syracuse surely won't give up without a fight. As for Morgan, they will look to take advantage of their home pitch for the first time this season as they take on Grantsville at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Morgan will be up against Grantsville's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.75 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
