The Marianna Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Florida State University High School Seminoles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, Marianna slipped by South Walton 26-25. The win was just what Marianna needed coming off of a 38-0 loss in their prior contest.
Meanwhile, Florida State University High School waltzed into Friday's contest with three straight wins but they left with four. They had just enough and edged Lincoln out 24-22.
Jeremy Johnston looked great while leading his team to the win, throwing for 195 yards and two touchdowns while completing 79.2% of his passes, and also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Jayden Threatts and his 101 yards on the ground were also a key factor in Florida State University High School's victory.
Marianna's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Florida State University High School, they have yet to lose a game at home this season, leaving them with a 8-2 record.
