Skyline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Centaurus Warriors. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.
While Skyline ultimately came up short, they really made Centaurus work, particularly in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-15, 26-24.
Gabriela Medina-Valdez paced Skyline's offense, picking up 15 kills. Medina-Valdez got some help from Lizeth Medina-Valdez and her 20 assists. Mikaela Stromquist controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.
Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Centaurus, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-6.
