BROCKTON, Mass. -
Brockton (Mass.) jumped out to an early lead against
Weymouth (South Weymouth, Mass.) and never looked back on the way to a 33-22 victory on Saturday.
The Boxers put up six points in the opening frame. Brockton scored on a
Patrick Burke touchdown pass to
Aaron LeClair.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by Burke to LeClair in the first quarter, BHS led 19-0 at the half.
The Boxers expanded their lead to 31 points entering the fourth quarter. Brockton scored two times in the third, including once on a touchdown run by
Jamal Williams.
The win was a nice bounce back for BHS, which lost to St. John's Prep last week, 36-22.
