Wilmington is on  a  six-game streak of home wins, while Evergreen Park is on  a  three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Wildcats will welcome the Mustangs  at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Both come into the  match bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
On Tuesday, Wilmington earned  a  2-0 win over Coal City.
 The  2-0 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-23,  27-25.
  Sami Liaromatis was the offensive standout of the  matchup as she  had 15  digs and one  assist.
Meanwhile, Evergreen Park was able to grind out a solid  victory over Richards on Tuesday, taking the game  2-0.
 While Evergreen Park won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the  first set they played. The final score came out to 27-25,  25-19.
 Wilmington better focus on containing  Madison Majka and  Tess Lee as the pair were huge in Evergreen Park's win. Majka  had 13  digs and two  aces, while  Lee  had seven  digs. That's the most  digs  Lee has posted  over her last six  contests.
 Evergreen Park's win bumped their record up to 22-11. As for Wilmington, their victory bumped their record up to 26-5.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of  Thursday's  match:  Wilmington has really dialed in their serving  this season,  having  averaged 7.4  aces per game. However, it's not like Evergreen Park struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 7.4  aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
 Wilmington came out on top in a nail-biter against Evergreen Park in their previous meeting  back in October of 2024, sneaking past  2-1. Do  the Wildcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
