Holy Cross have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They will be playing at home against Fairdale at at 7:00 PM on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
Two weeks ago, Holy Cross came up short against Frankfort, falling 0-14.
Meanwhile, Fairdale took a serious blow against Fern Creek last Friday, falling 0-42. Fairdale were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-34.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Hopefully the teams can find a way to make up for their last outings by putting some points on the board this time.
