Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Florence Christian beat Williamsburg Academy 22-16 on Tuesday.
Florence Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Leah Lambert, who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Lambert's trending in the right direction, as she's improved his point production for three games straight. Emerson Poston was another key contributor, scoring four points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
Christian Academy pushed their record up to 17-4 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for Florence Christian, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Christian Academy have been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 32.6 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Florence Christian struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25.9 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
