The Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts lost against the Neenah Rockets back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Kaukauna was outmatched by Neenah on the road and fell 72-37. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Kaukauna has scored all season.
Avarie Boucher and Jozy Ebben certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Boucher scored 13 points, while Ebben scored 12 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her.
This is the second loss in a row for Kaukauna and nudges their season record down to 3-2. As for Neenah, their victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 7-1.
Kaukauna will be home for the holidays to greet Hortonville at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Hortonville has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 352 points over their last five matchups. As for Neenah, they will head out on the road to face off against Appleton East at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
