Basketball Recap: Make It Two in a Row for Ridge Spring-Monetta

Ridge Spring-Monetta won the last time they faced Blackville-Hilda, and Ny'Asia Young did her part to make sure it happened again. The Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans were the clear victor by a 43-17 margin over the Blackville-Hilda Fighting Hawks on Friday thanks in part to Young, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 17 boards. Young is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: she's pulled down at least nine every time she's taken the court this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ridge Spring-Monetta and bumps their season record up to 6-5. As for Blackville-Hilda, they now have a losing record at 2-3.

Ridge Spring-Monetta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 44-43 victory against Williston-Elko on the 28th. As for Blackville-Hilda, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North at 6:00 p.m. on January 7th.
