Central City Value has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will square off against the USC-MAE Trojans at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Central City Value focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
Last Tuesday, Central City Value lost to the Jaguars at home by a decisive 61-46 margin. Central City Value was down 52-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the defeat, Central City Value had strong showings from Angel Marcial, who scored 25 points along with two steals, and Andy Lobos, who scored 20 points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, USC-MAE strolled past the Panthers with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 57-39. The victory made it back-to-back wins for USC-MAE.
Central City Value has traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season. As for USC-MAE, they pushed their record up to 8-6 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Central City Value lost to the Trojans on the road by a decisive 65-47 margin in their previous matchup back in January. Can Central City Value avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
