Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Midlothian). They took down the Ennis Lions 68-49 on Friday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Panthers with their most commanding win of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Midlothian and bumps their season record up to 4-12. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.0 points over those games. As for Ennis, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Midlothian and Midway will round out the year against one another at 9:30 a.m. on the 29th. As for Ennis, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Terrell at 6:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
