The Bergen Tech Knights will square off against the Camden County Vo-Tech Warriors at 4:15  p.m.  on Friday. The last three games Bergen Tech has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
If Bergen Tech beats Camden County Vo-Tech with two  runs on Friday, it's going to be the  team's new lucky number: they've won their past two  contests with that exact score. The Knights beat River Dell on Wednesday by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  2-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Golden Hawks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive  victory against them.
 Matt Tucci tossed a big game,   tossing six innings while giving up just one earned run off   five  hits.
 At the plate, Bergen Tech saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Harssh Ramayanam Venkkat, who  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double.
Meanwhile, Camden County Vo-Tech waltzed into their game  on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Vikings 11-3. Considering the Warriors have won ten matches by more than five  runs this season, Thursday's  blowout was nothing new.
 Tyler Doyle was a  major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  3.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (and not a single walk). Those  six  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  going 2-for-3 with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brayden Falcone was  incredible,  going 4-for-5 with three  stolen bases, three  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  four  hits gave  him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Jacob Shaw, who  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, two  doubles,  and two  RBI.
 Camden County Vo-Tech  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 14  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
 Camden County Vo-Tech's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Bergen Tech, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
 Bergen Tech might still be hurting after the  14-4 defeat they got from Camden County Vo-Tech  in their previous matchup  on Friday. Can the Knights avenge their  loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
