This season hasn't been kind to the Kentlake Falcons, who are still winless after their eighth matchup. They were the victim of a rough 76-54 defeat at the hands of Edmonds-Woodway on Friday.
Edmonds-Woodway found their leader in underclassman Dj Karl, who scored 18 points along with five steals. The game was Karl's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was William Alseth, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Kentlake bumped their record down to 0-8 with that defeat, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Edmonds-Woodway, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kentlake will finish 2023 at home by hosting Issaquah at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Edmonds-Woodway, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Ingraham at 7:15 p.m. on December 28th.
