  Caroline Bayes was the offensive standout of the  contest as she  had 12  digs.  Marlene Lawrence also deserves some recognition as  she  had her first  dig of the season.
New Bern's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for J.H. Rose, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.
 New Bern wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-0  defeat against South Central on the 9th. As for J.H. Rose, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  matchup,  a  3-0  loss against D.H. Conley on the 9th.
