Douglas County took care of business in their home opener on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Osborne Cardinals. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Cardinals: they've now won five in a row.

Douglas County easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-20.

Allysan Morris paced Douglas County's offense, picking up five kills. Morris got some help from Kynedie Thomas and her six assists. Thomas was also solid from the service line: she led the team with eight aces.

Coincidentally, Douglas County and Osborne will both be playing South Cobb the next time they take the court. The Cardinals will host the Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will play them later in the day, at 7:30 p.m.
