On Saturday, Alpharetta was able to grind out a solid win over Pensacola, taking the game 48-35. The win made it back-to-back wins for Alpharetta.
Pensacola lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Treashawn Washington, who scored 11 points. The game was Washington's third in a row with at least ten points. Nick Jones was another key contributor, scoring five points along with seven rebounds.
The win got Alpharetta back to even at 6-6. As for Pensacola, their loss was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 6-6.
Alpharetta and Upson-Lee will round out the year against one another at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday at. Pensacola's road trip will continue as they head out to face Seven Rivers Christian at 4:30 p.m. on December 28th. Seven Rivers Christian will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
