Langley and West Potomac squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Langley had to settle for second. They fell 48-37 to the West Potomac Wolverines. The Saxons' defeat signaled the end of their 15-game winning streak.

Langley's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Mariah Armah, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and 12 boards, and Peyton Daley, who posted six points and seven rebounds. The dominant performance gave Armah a new career-high in boards.

It was another big night for Olivia Jones, who shot 58% from the field en route to 21 points along with five rebounds and three steals for West Potomac. Another player making a difference was Lina Hashimi, who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points.

Langley's defeat dropped their record down to 23-4. As for West Potomac, their win bumped their record up to 25-4.

Langley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Potomac, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 77-39 loss against Osbourn Park on the 7th.
