The Centennial Eagles are on the road again on Thursday and play against the Harmony Longhorns at 3:00 p.m. on December 21st. Centennial knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past nine matches -- so hopefully Harmony likes a good challenge.
Centennial scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 82-51 win over Westwood on the road. That looming 82-51 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Centennial yet this season.
It was another big night for Louis Llinas, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 15 rebounds. Those 15 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayson Smith, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds.
Meanwhile, Harmony was able to grind out a solid victory over Sebastian River on Tuesday, taking the game 56-44. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Harmony.
Centennial's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Harmony, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
