Emmanuel Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan McNiel , who scored 11 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Tristan Culp , who scored 11 points along with 5 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Long came up short against Geneva County on Tuesday and fell 49-36. Long has not had much luck with Geneva County recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
The losses dropped Emmanuel Christian to 1-7 and Samson to 0-8.
Things could have been worse for Emmanuel Christian, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 55-41 loss to Long when the teams last played last Monday. Can Emmanuel Christian avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
