Portal's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alyssa King, who went 6-for-12 en route to 19 points and seven boards. What's more, King also racked up three assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was London Blackmon, who went 6-for-11 to rack up 15 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Portal smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards every time they've taken the court this season.
Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jayda Jordan, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 15 boards.
