Kenny Lanier was the best pitcher in the league this week. He accumulated zero wins and eight strikeouts.
Ashley's pitching was especially stingy this week, allowing two hits and one walks to lead the league in both categories. On the season, Ashley has allowed just 106 hits, while striking out 177 batters.
Matt Davis leads Ashley with 52 strikeouts in 33 innings.
The Buccaneers sprayed a league-best 137 hits this week, but still trail Ashley, which holds the season lead in base knocks with 188.
Pete Wildeboer has a team-high 25 hits on the season for second-place Laney, which went 1-0 this week.
Chance Shepard had a multi-hit game on Friday, when he went 4-4 in Ashley's 5-1 win against Knightdale. He rounded out his day with two runs batted in and three runs scored.
