Forestview hasn't had much luck against Crest recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. Forestview will be playing in front of their home fans against Crest at 6:00 p.m. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.
While Forestview's victory against Stuart W. Cramer wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Forestview narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Stuart W. Cramer 6-4. The Jaguars haven't had any issues with the Storm recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Olivia Hensley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kaitlyn Baker, who scored three runs while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Crest came tearing into Friday's match with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10.6 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Mountaineers. The two-run effort marked the Chargers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
Crest saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ella Shope, who went 1-for-2 with one double. That double marked the first that Shope hit this season.
Crest pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Forestview, their victory bumped their record up to 6-7.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Forestview has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .447. However, it's not like Crest struggles in that department as they've averaged .482. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Forestview suffered a grim 11-1 defeat to Crest in their previous meeting on March 7th. Will Forestview have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
