Saratoga Springs is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They never let Cicero-North Syracuse get on the board and left with a 14-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Blue Streaks, who have now won eight games by six runs or more so far this season.

On the hitting side, Jack Covell and Raul Rodriguez did most of the damage at the plate: Covell went a perfect 4-for-4 with three runs and one stolen base, while Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Covell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Collier, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Saratoga Springs kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their hit total in three consecutive matchups.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Friday as neither Niagara Falls nor McQuaid Jesuit made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Wolverines came out on top against the Knights by a score of 5-0. The victory was nothing new for the Wolverines as they're now sitting on three straight.
The result came thanks to Trevor Meidenbauer's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Anthony Savino was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.
Niagara Falls pushed their record up to 20-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Saratoga Springs, their record now sits at 19-6.
