Andrews came out on top against North Georgia HomeSchool on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run seventh inning. The Wildcats took their game against the Tribe 7-2. The seven-run effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Dawson Stalcup and Aiden Garrett made a big impact no matter where they played. On the mound, Stalcup tossed five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Meanwhile, Garrett pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Stalcup a new career-high in strikeouts (four). At the plate, Stalcup went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI, while Garrett got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Stalcup is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

In other batting news, Kelby Waldroup was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double. Waldroup is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Logan Hyde also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Andrews was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .333 or higher every time they've taken the field this season.

Andrews' win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Andrews will square off against IC Imagine at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they will face off against Asheville T at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
