It was a good run, but the Methacton Warriors unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to Constitution 66-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Leading Constitution to victory were Kyree Latimer and Perry Fields. Latimer dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds, while Fields scored 19 points along with nine rebounds and three blocks. Latimer has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last six times he's played. Another player making a difference was Amir Speights, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Methacton's loss dropped their record down to 13-6. As for Constitution, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Methacton will square off against Pottstown at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Pottstown will be looking to keep their six-game home win streak alive. As for Constitution, they will head out on the road to take on John Bartram at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
