The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Therrell in their matchups with Walker: they've now lost four in a row.
Walker was led to victory by Noah Pederson and Moustapha Diop. Pederson dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds, while Diop dropped a double-double on 22 points and 18 rebounds. Diop is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Lorenzo Mccorvey was another key contributor, scoring six points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Therrell has been struggling recently, as they've lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season. As for Walker, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-7.
Therrell will face off against Business Engineering Science Tech at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Business Engineering Science Tech is out to stop a five-game streak of losses at home. Walker will take on North Cobb Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. North Cobb Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 397 points over their last five matches.
