After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Wesley Chapel, Academy at the Lakes was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They blew past the Seven Rivers Christian Warriors 16-1. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Warriors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.
Elizabeth Budine made a splash while hitting and pitching. She struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits (and not a single walk).
