Grace Academy's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Peter Ciardiello, who scored 26 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. That was a full 44.8% of Grace Academy's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Carson Feeser was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
New Life Christian's win bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Grace Academy, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Eagles at 5:45 p.m. on February 2nd. Heritage Academy is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games.
