Baseball Recap: Mora Extends Winning Streak to Five

Mora extended their winning streak to five on Wednesday, bumping their season record up to 9-8 in the process. Everything went their way against the Penasco Panthers as they made off with a 20-10 win. Considering the Rangers/Rangerettes have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

As for Penasco, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-18 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.9 runs over those games.

For Penasco's part, Elias Noll stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: he went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Carlos Rodriguez, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run.
