After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pleasant Valley, the University Prep Panthers were happy to have found some success on Wednesday. They blew past Lindhurst 89-16 on the road. With University Prep ahead 57-6 at the half, the match was all but over already.
University Prep was led to victory by Devin Huegel and Trey Pringle. Huegel scored 15 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals, while Pringle dropped a triple-double on 13 points, 10 rebounds, and 10 assists. Pringle continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jack Ampi was another key contributor, scoring 9 points along with 5 assists and 3 steals.
University Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Lindhurst, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-4.
University Prep won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Colusa at 5:00 p.m. on December 7th. Colusa is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50.6 points per game. As for Lindhurst, they will be playing at home against Oroville at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
