The Chancellor Chargers stacked a 14th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-30 victory over Caroline at home. The victory was nothing new for Chancellor as they're now sitting on 11 straight.
Kendall Scott continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with six assists and six steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last 11 times she's played. Maya Johnson was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Chancellor pushed their record up to 17-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points per game. As for Caroline, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chancellor will take on the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Spotsylvania focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 22 on Friday. Caroline will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against the Blue Devils at 6:30 p.m. on February 6th. Culpeper County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four games -- so hopefully the Cavaliers like a good challenge.
