After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Valdosta, Tucker was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They claimed a resounding 44-7 victory over the Chamblee Bulldogs. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-0.

The win got Tucker back to even at 1-1. As for Chamblee, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Tucker will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lithonia at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Chamblee, they will venture away from home to square off against Southwest DeKalb at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
