 Fairfield's win was  their third straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 7-4. As for Lakeland, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.
 Fairfield will head out on the road to  challenge  Prairie Heights at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Prairie Heights is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.3  runs per game  this season. As for Lakeland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against East Noble at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday.
