Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Carmel Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kam Taylor, who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds. That makes it six consecutive games in which Taylor has scored at least 25% of Carmel Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Chandler Kennedy, who scored 19 points along with 5 assists.
Calvary Day School's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Dane Cassada, who scored 24 points. The game was Cassada's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jordan Richardson, who scored 12 points along with 6 rebounds.
The win makes it two in a row for Carmel Christian and bumps their season record up to 4-5. As for Calvary Day School, they now have a losing record at 2-3.
Carmel Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Cary Academy at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. Hopefully Cary Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 20 on Friday. As for Calvary Day School, they will square off against Bishop McGuinness at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
