After a dominant win in their contest last Friday, AGWSR were humbled on Friday. They suffered a grim 19-44 defeat to Gladbrook-Reinbeck. AGWSR's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
The defeat dropped AGWSR's record to 5-3. The victory was the 6th in a row for Gladbrook-Reinbeck, as they raised their record to 6-2.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Next week AGWSR take on Twin Cedars at 7:00 PM. Neither of these teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable loss. Gladbrook-Reinbeck will look to defend their home turf against Colo-NESCO at 7:00 PM. Both of those teams have set a high bar for this matchup after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
