Needles put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game with ease, bagging a 92-37 victory over the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Needles was led to victory by Darrell Russell and Luke Mills. Russell went 12 of 17 on his way to 28 points along with seven assists and four steals, while Mills dropped a double-double on 21 points and 12 assists. The contest was Russell's third in a row with at least 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Goulet, who went 5 for 6 en route to 14 points.

Needles smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Lake Mead Christian Academy only pulled down three offensive rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Lake Mead Christian Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Caynen Abittan went 6 of 9 from beyond the arc to rack up 25 points. Abittan also set a new season-high mark in field goal percentage with 73%.

Needles' win was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 27-0. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 35.8 points. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 12 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-16 record this season.

Needles didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 83-38 victory against GV Christian on the 8th. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 57-48 win against Laughlin on the 8th.
