The Harrisburg Bulldogs were the 70-56 winner over the Moberly Spartans when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Harrisburg fell 65-58 to Moberly on Tuesday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Moberly's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Bj Godreau, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Kish Jacobs jr, who scored 11 points along with five steals.
Harrisburg's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Moberly, their win bumped their record up to 7-5.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Harrisburg will take on Marceline at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Marceline is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. Moberly's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fulton at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th.
