The Slaughter Community Charter Knights will square off against the Dunham Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Slaughter Community Charter's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They blew past Broadmoor, posting a 35-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Knights.

Ty'Kimion Ford produced another solid performance rushing for 134 yards and a pair of TDs on only nine carries, while also throwing for 128 yards and two touchdowns on only eight passes. That's the most passing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Albert Eubanks, who rushed for 123 yards on only eight carries.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Slaughter Community Charter was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 351 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Dunham won against East Feliciana last Friday with 42 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Thursday. The Tigers simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Episcopal 42-7. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won four in a row.
Slaughter Community Charter better keep an eye on Trevor Haman. He was instrumental in Dunham's win, picking up 51 receiving yards and one score, while also punching in a pair of touchdowns on the ground.
Dunham didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Jrome J.J. Harris.
Slaughter Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Dunham, their win bumped their record up to 8-1.
