Rancho Mirage entered their tilt with Wiseburn- Da Vinci on Saturday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves with a sharp 4-1 victory. Given the Rattlers' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 189th, while Wolves are ranked 440th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rancho Mirage hit Wiseburn- Da Vinci with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Jerome Carter (2), Jose Antonio Guerrero, and Jesus Gutierrez.

Rancho Mirage's win bumped their record up to 6-2-3. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rancho Mirage will head out to square off against Xavier Prep at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West at 3:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. West's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
