Sandia Prep lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Maddy Weisler, who scored 12 points. Emily Cook was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with eight rebounds.
Albuquerque Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noelani Montoya led the charge by scoring 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cara Anderson, who scored 13 points.
