Indian River (Philadelphia, N.Y.) extended its winning streak to eight games with a 35-14 victory over
Bodley (Fulton, N.Y.) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a touchdown pass by
Kody Smith to
Darrius Bryant in the first quarter, the Warriors led 21-0 at the half.
Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at 21.
Indian River's standout player in the win was Smith. The senior threw three touchdowns, caught one touchdown and kicked five extra points.
The Red Raiders'
Seth Delisle played well. The junior ran for one touchdown.
IR went into the matchup giving up only 16.3 points per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 47-14 win for the Philadelphia school.
