Meanwhile, Millard North faced Omaha Westside in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. Millard North sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 69-66 win over Omaha Westside. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Omaha North better keep an eye on Derek Rollins. He was instrumental in Millard North's win, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 11 boards. Rollins is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last four games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Coriahnn Gallatin, who posted 13 points.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Omaha North has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 32.2 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Millard North struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.1 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Omaha North might still be hurting after the 81-57 defeat they got from Millard North in their previous meeting back in March of 2022. Thankfully for Omaha North, Jasen Green (who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
